Hornsby Named SSAC Pitcher of the Week
Ryanne Hornsby was named SSAC Softball Pitcher of the Week, the conference office announced Monday.
The awards are based on performance for the week of Feb. 27 – March 5.
This is her first-career honor. Hornsby went 3-0 on the week, striking out 19 and posting a 1.67 ERA in 21 innings in the circle. She went the distance in all three games and allowed two runs or less in each contest, including limiting Williams Baptist to one run on five hits, while fanning six.
