Jones Company Rest Home ranked 2nd in size among Jones County nursing homes in Q1 2026

During the first quarter of 2026, Jones Company Rest Home was the second largest nursing facility in Jones County, data from the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) shows.

The center reported 122 beds available—15 above the county average for that quarter—and an average of 115.3 residents receiving care during this period.

CMS gave Jones Company Rest Home a 2 out of 5 overall rating, compared to the state nursing home average of 2.7 in Mississippi.

Comfort Care Nursing Center was the largest facility in Jones County for the quarter, with 126 beds, while Care Center of Laurel followed as the third largest, offering 120 beds.

Jones Company Rest Home incurred $12,735 in fines and faced two penalties by the end of the first quarter of 2026.

But when you need that type of care, there are limited options.”
