Lady Crusaders Capture Title at Ram Invite

The William Carey Women’s Golf team led from start to finish, with two rounds of 297, to capture the Ram Invite by 16 strokes, at Magnolia Grove Golf Club.

RESULTS

Nichakorn Prapsripoom led the way with rounds of 70-74 to take home the individual title.  Abigail Wickham finished in second place with back to rounds of one over par 73.  Kayla Starr posted rounds of 76-77 to finish eighth. 

Pattaramon Ruangrung was sitting tied for 10th after a first round 78 but dropped a spot despite improving her score by two strokes.  Tristan Cooley made the biggest move after round one moving from tied for 17th to tied for 12th with a final round 74.

Mallory Gilbertson finished 34th with Emma Wedgeworth finishing 46th respectively.

The Lady Crusaders will be back in action March 6-7, as they travel to New Orleans, La. to take part in the Wolfpack Invitational, hosted by Loyola University at English Turn Country Club.
