A former FBI Safe Streets Task Force officer, Ezell has been vocal about various issues including live updates from Washington, sports policies concerning gender, and legislation addressing the drug crisis.

On February 5, 2025, Congressman Ezell announced his participation in a live update on Pine Belt Daybreak. He urged followers to “Tune in now as I join the Pine Belt Daybreak for a live update from Washington.”

Later that day, Ezell expressed gratitude towards President Biden for an executive order aimed at protecting women and girls in sports. He stated “As a grandfather, my top priority is ensuring my granddaughter never competes against a male, pretending to be female.” He thanked the president for restoring common sense through this action.

On February 6, 2025, Ezell addressed the ongoing drug crisis in the nation. Drawing from his experience as a former FBI officer, he highlighted the importance of legislative measures to combat drug trafficking. He mentioned that “Today, @HouseGOP will vote on the HALT Fentanyl Act to ensure law enforcement can continue seizing deadly drugs like fentanyl and its analogues.”
