Congressman Mike Ezell, representing Mississippi’s 4th district, shared insights into his recent activities and positions through a series of Twitter posts. Having succeeded Steven Palazzo in 2023, Ezell has continued to engage with constituents and participate in both local and international discussions.

On April 22, 2025, Ezell highlighted his visit to Hybrid Plastics in Hattiesburg. He described the company as an “incredible Mississippi company doing groundbreaking work,” noting their development of a polymer to aid in treating combat wounds. Ezell expressed pride in the innovation occurring in Mississippi. “Visited Hybrid Plastics in Hattiesburg today—an incredible Mississippi company doing groundbreaking work. They’ve developed a polymer that could help treat combat wounds and save lives on the battlefield.”

Later that day, Ezell addressed international affairs, condemning an attack in India’s Kashmir region. He voiced his sorrow for those affected by the events, offering condolences to the victims and prayers for the injured. “I strongly condemn the horrific terrorist attack in India’s Kashmir region and extend my deepest condolences to the victims and their families, as well as prayers for a swift recovery for the injured.”

The following day, on April 23, 2025, Ezell participated in a local landmark event: the ribbon-cutting ceremony for the Hall Avenue West Overpass in Hattiesburg. He emphasized the century-long anticipation for this project, which is expected to reduce traffic and enhance safety for local residents. “It’s a bridge that’s been more than 100 years in the making — and today, drivers in Hattiesburg are finally getting some relief. Proud to join local leaders and neighbors for the ribbon cutting of the new Hall Avenue West Overpass! This project will ease traffic, improve safety.”

Ezell, who was born in Pascagoula, Mississippi in 1959, currently resides in his hometown. A graduate of the University of Southern Mississippi with a BA obtained in 1997, he continues to represent Mississippi’s 4th District with a focus on local advancement and international matters.
