Nations Earns SSAC Pitcher of the Week Honors

Haley Nations of William Carey (Miss.) was named SSAC Softball Pitcher of the Week and Morgan Windham of Middle Georgia was named SSAC Softball Player of the Week, the conference office announced Monday.

 
The awards are based on performance for the week of Feb. 13-19.

This is her 10th-career weekly honor.  Nations went 2-0 on the week with only three unearned runs allowed in 14 innings with 21 strikeouts.  She tossed seven innings of three-hit, shutout ball with 11 K’s in a 1-0 win over LSU-Alexandria.
