South Jones High School standout Matthew Martinolich’s college team lost in NCAA Division II baseball game on Saturday, April 5

On Saturday, April 5, former South Jones High School standout Matthew Martinolich’s current college team, the Delta State Statesmen, lost 7-3 in their NCAA Division II baseball game against the Montevallo Falcons.

The game took place at Kermit A. Johnson Field at Bob Riesener Stadium. This was their third matchup against the Falcons this season.

The Statesmen’s next game is scheduled for Tuesday, April 8 at 5 p.m. at Harvey Stadium at Ferriss Field against Arkansas–Monticello Boll Weevils.
