The Southern Miss Department of Athletics has announced a schedule change for the upcoming baseball game against North Alabama at Pete Taylor Park/Hill Denson Field. The Saturday, March 7 game will now begin at 12 noon, two hours earlier than originally planned. This adjustment was made in response to forecasts predicting rain in the area.
The final game of the series is set to take place as scheduled on Sunday at 1 p.m.
These former Pine Belt area high school standouts will be competing on Friday, April 10.
Southern Miss softball dropped its final series game against Troy with a score of 10-2 on March 29. Madison Johnson hit her third home run of the season while Kayce Bennett continued her strong defensive play behind the plate.
Southern Miss women’s golf is tied for fifth place after two rounds at the ULM Invitational in Monroe, Louisiana. Louise Cuyvers leads her team individually in eighth place as they prepare for Tuesday’s final round.
