Southern Miss women’s tennis is set to host Georgia Southern at the USM Tennis Complex on Saturday, March 7, with the match scheduled to begin at 10 a.m.
The team aims to use this home fixture as an opportunity to build confidence and maintain momentum during the spring season. Emphasis will be placed on starting strong in doubles play, maintaining aggression at the net, and using early advantages to create pressure in singles matches.
Head coach Piyanart Engineer will have a full roster available for the match. Players expected to compete include Hannah Chambers, Gagana Mohan Kumar, Sakura Sudo, Miranda Xu, Kamornwan Kornsila, Pimmada Lim, Mia Hasashi-Morrissey, Celine Mosteanu, Manuella Persson, and Angelina Blinova. Abhijeet Tiwari serves as assistant coach for the Golden Eagles.
