Southeastern Baptist College enrolls 72 undergrads

At Southeastern Baptist College, 82 percent of undergraduate students are nontraditional students - age 25 or older - and 72 percent are male, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

The four-year private not-for-profit institution in Laurel enrolled 72 students in fall 2018, all in undergraduate programs, data shows. 26.4 percent of undergraduates transferred from another college or university.

58 percent of undergraduates are residents of Mississippi, and 36 percent are residents of other states.

The undergraduate student body is comprised mostly of students who identify as Black or African American (72 percent) and white (24 percent).
