Cost of college went up for all students at Southeastern Baptist College

Tuition and fees rose 16.7 percent for 2018-19 at Southeastern Baptist College, according to recent data from the U.S. Department of Education.

Mississippi students paid $6,025 to attend the four-year private not-for-profit institution this year – $860 more than the $5,165 charged for 2017-18.

Data shows 100 percent of full-time undergraduates who started school in 2015-16 received student financial aid in some form. In all, 8 students received grants or scholarships totaling $30,551.

Including all undergraduates (72), 33 students used grants or scholarships totaling $107,560.
