Graduates earn 6 degrees from Southeastern Baptist College

About 66.7 percent of the 6 degrees and certificates handed out by Southeastern Baptist College in 2017-18 were to students in theology and religious vocations programs, making them the most popular programs that year, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

The agency's National Center for Education Statistics shows the private not-for-profit institution in Laurel conferred 3 bachelor's degrees and 1 associate's degrees in theology and religious vocations programs.

But the single most popular program was for a bachelor's degree in bible/biblical studies. Data shows the school gave out 3 bachelor's degrees in bible/biblical studies, followed by 1 associate's degrees in bible/biblical studies and 1 associate's degrees in general business administration and management.

The college enrolled 72 students for 2017-18, all of whom were enrolled in undergraduate programs.
