Graduates earn 123 degrees, certificates from Antonelli College-Hattiesburg

About 95.9 percent of the 123 degrees and certificates handed out by Antonelli College-Hattiesburg in 2017-18 were to students in health professions and related programs, making them the most popular programs that year, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

The agency's National Center for Education Statistics shows the private for-profit institution in Hattiesburg conferred 96 certificates and 22 associate's degrees in health professions and related programs.

But the single most popular program was for a certificate in "other" practical nursing, vocational nursing and nursing assistants. Data shows the school gave out 40 certificates in "other" practical nursing, vocational nursing and nursing assistants, followed by 27 certificates in "other" allied health and medical assisting services and 16 certificates in medical insurance specialist/medical biller.

The college enrolled 155 students for 2017-18, all of whom were enrolled in undergraduate programs.
