Census Bureau: More women than men in New Augusta in 2019

Of the 657 people living in New Augusta in 2019, 53.7 percent (353) were women and 46.3 percent (304) were men, according to U.S. Census Bureau data obtained by the Pine Belt Times.

Females 18 and over outnumbered males in the same age group by a ratio of 210-to-170. In the 65 and over age range, there were 57 females and 46 males.
