SPECIAL OLYMPICS TORCH RUN
Today, area law enforcement members including those from the Forrest County Sheriff’s Office, the Hattiesburg Police Department, and the Petal Police Department carried and handed off to each other the Special Olympics Torch, as it travels around Mississippi as part of the Annual Torch Run. A big thank you to Biloxi Police Department for their support and help during the event.
Each year, agencies participate in the run to help raise awareness for the Special Olympics. Thanks to HPD for hosting the event and for the below pictures.
