FCSO DEPUTY VISITS ABBIE ROGERS CIVITAN CAMP

FCSO's own Jason Simon took some time today to stop by the Abbie Rogers Civitan Camp on Highway 13 to interact with some of the special needs adults attending the camp this week.

Campers have been experiencing adventures at Abbie Rogers Civitan Camp for over 50 years. Camp takes place for two weeks in the summer and again over a long weekend in the fall. Campers have opportunities to swim like fish or reel them in, glide over the water in an innertube or relax on a boat, and show off their talents on stage or with arts and crafts. Civitan Camp provides the perfect place to make camp for experiences and memories that last a lifetime.

Campers had a unique opportunity today to sit in a patrol vehicle with working lights and siren, and even provide their fellow campers with specific instructions over the PA system.

Below are photographs of Jason interacting with the campers, and by the looks of it, they all were having a pretty good time!
