12th CIRCUIT COURT NARCOTICS ENFORCEMENT TEAM (12th NET) DRUG ARRESTS
On July 18, 2022 the 12th Circuit Court Narcotics Enforcement Team (12NET) comprised of agents from the Forrest County Sheriff’s Office, Perry County Sheriff’s Office, Hattiesburg Police Department, and Petal Police Department executed a search at a residence in the Sunrise Community. Concluding the search Agents seized over an ounce of methamphetamine and a firearm.
Christopher Channing Russell and Wendy Nicole Strange were both charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance with Intent to Distribute while in Possession of a Firearm.
Both individuals were transported to the Forrest County Adult Detention Center where they will be held to await bond.
