How high did Laurel junior tennis player Ridge Jones rank in Boys’ 16 bracket in week ending Oct. 1?

Laurel tennis player Ridge Jones is ranked 1,972nd in the junior Boys’ 16 category of the United States Tennis Association in the week ending Oct. 1.

They had 384 total points, split between 345 single points and 260 double points. USTA rankings are determined by adding 100 percent of singles points and 15 percent of doubles points plus any bonus points earned.

Jarett Cascino of New York Tennis Magazine says tennis is one of the most competitive youth sports.
