It’s that time of year, friends, when people show their “Grinch” and try to take advantage of the good citizens. FCSO has had a call about someone offering to pay for a job but when asked about a credit card to do so, the bad guy requested personal banking information. Thank goodness the good citizen stopped texting with the bad guy and blocked his number. #avoidGrinches Don’t be fooled by scams like this! Never give out your personal banking information, DOB or social security number to a stranger! If it sounds like someone is fishing for info, don’t take the bait- just break the line.
