Beginning December 16 until January 1, 2023 the Marion County Sheriff's Office will be participating in the Drive Sober or Get Pulled Over Campaign. This campaign is funded by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration and the Mississippi Office of Highway Safety. Whether it is caused by alcohol, legal, or illegal drugs impaired drivers endanger everyone. The Marion County Sheriff's Office will be out in full force, heavily patrolling the streets and highways in an effort to make sure everyone enjoys their holidays safely. Our job is to keep the citizens of Marion County safe, and that includes getting impaired drivers off the road.
