Stuff-a-Truck Recycling Event | City of Hattiesburg-Government

Anticipating lots of cardboard boxes, wrapping paper and more during the Christmas holidays? We've got you covered (pun intended).

One of our biggest recycling events of the year - Stuff-a-Truck - will take place on Tuesday, Dec. 27 and Wednesday, Dec. 28. This year, our recycling truck will be at the Ben McNair Center (North 12th Avenue and Conti Street) on both days from 8 a.m. until 2 p.m.

Acceptable items include: Paper Plastic (#1 and #2 only) Cardboard Aluminum cans Living Christmas trees (unflocked)

This location, in addition to three others will also be set up to take live, unlocked Christmas trees. Between Tuesday, Dec. 28 and Sunday, Feb. 28, all residents can drop off live, unflocked Christmas trees at the following locations: Duncan Lake on James Street Ben McNair Center at North 12th Ave & Conti Street Fire Station #8 on Lamar Boulevard (near Petro Nissan) Highland Cemetery behind the office on W 7th Street

This location, in addition to three others, will also be set up to take live, unlocked Christmas trees. Between Tuesday, Dec. 28 and Sunday, Feb. 28, all residents can drop off live, unflocked Christmas trees at the following locations.
