Track & Field Return from Birmingham With Personal Bests

The Southern Miss track and field team capped the weekend on Sunday by setting personal bests at the Jaguar Invitational in Birmingham.

"After taking last weekend off, it was great to get back on the track. Our final visit to the CrossPlex before conference was really instructive, and we took a lot away from today's performances. We prepare for the Music City Challenge with the intention of grinding through the regular season," according to head coach Jon Stuart.

The Black & Gold saw several personal bests across events. Returner Kaya Ludgood achieved a personal best and fourth-place finish in the weight throw, moving him into the top five in the conference.
