What background was most represented in Hattiesburg Public School District schools in 2021-22 school year?

Black students made up 87.1% of the 3,631 students enrolled in Hattiesburg Public School District schools during the 2021-22 school year, making them the most represented ethnicity, according to the Mississippi Department of Education.

This is a three% decrease from the previous school year.

Hattiesburg High School had the highest enrollment in the district with 960 students.

A snapshot of Hattiesburg Public School District schools showed 87.1% of students were Black, 6.9% were Hispanic, 2.2% were white, and 1.4% multiracial.
