On Tuesday, March 11, former South Jones High School standout Cole Richardson’s current college team, the Southern Miss Golden Eagles, won 3-1 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the UTRGV Vaqueros.
The game took place at Pete Taylor Park. This was their first matchup against the Vaqueros this season.
The Golden Eagles’ next game is scheduled for Friday, March 14 at 6 p.m. at Pete Taylor Park against Old Dominion Monarchs.
