WCU launches online apparel store

William Carey University has a new online apparel store – featuring affordable, Crusader-branded choices for both athletic teams and academic departments.

“We wanted to expand the variety of apparel available to students, alumni and supporters. But we also wanted to make it more accessible and affordable online for people who want to show their Carey spirit,” said WCU President Dr. Ben Burnett.

The selection includes polos, short- and long-sleeve T-shirts, pullovers, hoodies, and caps.

William Carey’s new online apparel store is the latest step in a process that started many years ago with a sports company called Third Coast Soccer.

“We’ve partnered with them for, probably, 20 years on soccer apparel. In November, we expanded to include all of William Carey’s athletic teams. Dr. Burnett liked the idea and we decided to add the academic departments, too,” said WCU Athletic Director D.J. Pulley.

In addition to all of WCU’s athletic teams, Crusader apparel is also available featuring these academic areas:

•    Cooper School of Missions & Ministry

•    School of Arts and Letters

•    College of Health Sciences

•    School of Business

•    College of Osteopathic Medicine

•    School of Education

•    School of Music

•    School of Nursing

•    School of Natural & Behavioral Sciences

•    School of Pharmacy

Carey supporters can also order apparel specific to the university’s three locations – Hattiesburg, Tradition and Baton Rouge.
